Stephen Elliott's Tips for Writing a Perfect Book


At this year's Associated Writing Programs conference in Washington, D.C., Stephen Elliott said that there are three things any writer needs to write a perfect book. Here they are:

1. Perfect sentences.
2. Tension.
3. Honesty.

  1. I love him. The Adderall Diaries was such an amazing book. I loved the way it was written. I loved the parallel to In Cold Blood. I love his story. I love him. I should have gone to the conference. fml.
